Please make yourself familiar with the following terms if you want to store with us.
- We ask for a notice period of 2 working days for collection, visitation and most services to be carried out. We will endeavour to carry out requests sooner if we can, but will make no guarantee.
- Thirsk Vehicle Storage shall not insure the Goods and responsibility for maintaining insurance regarding any Goods deposited shall remain with the owner. This is mandatory for storing in our outside compound.
- We require an upfront monthly payment and in the case of any outstanding payments the vehicle will remain in our possession (lien) until all debts are cleared.
- Any towable vehicle will require a hitch lock or wheel clamp to be fitted for security reasons. These can be of your own, or hired or purchased directly from us.
- We do allow other security features to be fitted to your vehicle, e.g. wheel clamps or trackers. You must inform us upon drop-off and ensure all relevant keys are left in our possession.
- To keep our customers and vehicles safe, we ask for matching ID and purchase documents/V5C and proof of insurance when dropping off and collecting. No one other than the owner will be able to collect the vehicle without prior notice from the owner.
- A key must be left in our possession at all times.
- We do not allow any mechanical work to be carried out on the vehicles. We ask you to remove your vehicle first.
- 24-hour drop-off is only available to cars and motorhomes for security reasons. By leaving your vehicle with us out of hours, you acknowledge the increased risk of theft and damage.
